Animation

Animation Club is run for year 6 by Mr Newport

Cricket

Cricket Club is run for years 5 and 6 by Mr Newport and Mr Durrant.

It runs through terms 4,5 and 6. Both boys and girls are encouraged to come.

We enjoyed much success during 2008/2009 finishing 2nd, 3rd, 1st in the 3 major tournaments with our girls team representing Canterbury at the kent finals and only missing out on national finals by 4 runs.

We have 2 team names at Blean.

The Blean Rhinos and the Blean Grizzlies. These are named after teams which are special to Mr Newport. The Leeds Rhinos and the Fresno Grizzlies.

Each team has its own kit with a logo and number on the back. Some children have hoodies based on the same but with their names on. These kits were bought by Dotcafe, a local internet cafe run by an ex pupil.

Hockey

Hockey Club is run for years 4,5 and 6 by Miss Irons and Mr Newport.

Congratulations to all the players involved in the Maylem Bowl!

We finished 1st 8th and 10th out of 12 which is a fantastic result.
